Excellent interview! Thanks Christian.
agreed. Steve obviously was in a „talking“ mode and the questions were superb.
Like his statement about age and (no) retirement

At the moment, this is my second favorite Gabriel album.
It changed quite often, though.
Have picked Wallflower, then Lay your hands on me and I have the touch
Will be a close call .... still hoping it will work
They are all great ... my top 3: Red rain, In your eyes, Mercy street
Well, that's for sure better than the recent playback video from Spanish (?) TV
thx for sharing
Come talk to me is my fav from that album
Blood of eden a wonderful ballad...
And Digging is a monster, especially live.
Easier than I thought
I wish it would rain down
Colors
All of my life
Start of the set:
Duke's intro / Behind the lines would be rather boring, we had that
I think it will be Abacab
ITAT
Droned
and I'm not movin'
an all time fav of mine!
Not going to the US (this time). Hoping the UK tour will take place
thanks. Curious how this will change Phil's singing, i.e. will they just take over parts that are too high for Phil, do a lot of background harmony singing etc?
3SL and LOE for me. I actually also like SO, but never really liked its sound.
Hey - and welcome!
And thanks for sharing that. Will check this out tomorrow!
More good news! Still, I wonder if that's realistic (I assume they want to sell out the venues), but maybe end of the year is starting post for live concerts? Any news from North America? What's the situation in Canada?
Got the Aldous book and it's really nicely done - and very detailed. OK, bit too expensive perhaps.
Mario's book is less detailed, but also a great one (as usual)
If you want to buy one of them, pick Steve Aldous' book.
NYC is an option - so i picked that. If I'm going...
Can't stop watching this! Thanks for sharing
(even better than the Virgin airlines commercials)
yes this was about all those things that are currently discussed to make shows happen, i.e. tests, social distancing etc. And I also think that the phrase "can't see it at the moment" doesn't mean they will 100% postpone again. Could also mean things might look better soon.
My own feeling still is: UK shows won't happen in September.
Display MoreI hope they schedule some dates in the USA! I heard what Mike said and I’m so excited to see the band!
My wild guess at a set list in order:
Medley: Behind the Lines / Squonk / The LambNo son of mine
Throwing it all away
Home by the sea
Suppers ready (10 minute edited version)
Hold On my heartFollow you follow me
Abacab
Medley: In the cage / cinema show / firth of fifth
Land of confusion
Domino
Tonight tonight tonight / invisible touch
encore
I can’t danceMisunderstanding
Carpet crawlers
interesting set... not sure about I can't dance - how would they do it?
Also, if they do Apocalpyse, I guess it will be part of something else, i.e. a drum solo?
Lorenzo, Oughta know by now and No matter who for me.
then It's in your eyes and Wear my hat, plus The times ...
all in all not a very convincing album, but it has its moments.
