I am really curious how Peter will proceed, i.e. which mix will end up on the album - or will there be a different album mix?

Birmingham gig had great sound and the visuals were innovative - it was good to hear all the new stuff live with the power of a 9 piece band.
But £40 for t-shirt.......
yes the Merch is ridiculously expensive. I didn’t buy anything. Would have bought the Programme, though. But that wasn’t available so far …

The track / mix has not yet appeared in my Bandcamp
collection. Is it just me or is it generally not yet available there?

Not outstanding, but a good track. 10 points from me!

14 from me.
I really enjoyed the new live version, but this track has always been a great one, no matter in what setting.

Went to see The Musical Box last week. And boy was I disappointed.
First, this was the first time that I have ever seen the Lamb lies down performed WITHOUT SLIDE PROJECTIONS. Incredible and no explanation was given why, I can only assume because the stage was too small but even so it was not really a lamb show.
And second, I was told that when the vocalist (Denis) does his interlude chats to the audience, the guitarists make annoying guitar tuning on purpose that was in fact very annoying.
And lastly, the encores were not like the original show (that I did see in 1974) but that's ok, I had never seen The Knife live. But in all, I think this was the last time I will go see these guys.
Oh, that must have been an unfortunate day.
I saw them plenty of times over the years and especially The Lamb was always astonishing. Needless to say that without slides it's not the same show.
I don't know what the Encores issue is - they do play the same ones as they did during the Lamb tour and of course they mix them. So it's quite possible you didn't get The knife in 1974 at. the show you attended.

Great show, great crowd!
I was hoping for Washing of the Water, but I do understand he's playing "Flut" to a German speaking audience.
Marina indeed was not there and no - Peter didn't mention her absence at all. People were in a good mood and from Don't give up onwards, they were all standing and.
Very enjoyable show!
Merch was rather expensive. It was of course in CHF, but the exchange rate from CHF to EUR is roughly 1:1 and the mug was 25 instead of 20 (previous gigs) for example.

Wonderful track. It's not outstanding, but surely will add nicely to the i/o stuff. And it has a groove!

Yet another marvelous piece of fan-work. Will dig in later.

I confirm. I was there during soundcheck in Verona. They've rehearsed loudly in the early afternoon some "Sledgehammer" repetitions without PG. Probably just for checking the PA in the Arena. Then they came back with PG in the late afternoon (I think it was 5 or 5.30 p.m.) and they've rehearsed again without the PA on. So you can't hear very clear because they were using only the sound from their monitors onstage (it was barely audible only staying very close to the stage). At this point they've tried out 2 or 3 times different portions of a new song not in the final setlist, and I'm sure about the song title because the incipit of the chorus is the title of the track repeated twice. It seemed a full band, mid-tempo slightly melancholic track, close to "Live and Let Live" or "Olive Tree" style for the little I can hear. The title of the song is down here to not spoil:
So Much?
ok, perhaps I just didn't hear this one. Hope this will appear soon.

I am uncertain all the time when it comes to this question
I recently rediscovered Abacab, so it has replaced NC in my Top3. Then Wind and Duke.
same here. Just changed from Lamb to Selling ....

During soundcheck, they rehearsed / played another new and unknown track they may appear in the set shortly.
I can't confirm that. I don't remember exactly what they rehearsed but there was nothing new to me.
But "So Much" appeared on Tony Levin's setlist sheet, see here.
Anyone else maybe can provide better info?

Paris tonight
So we’ll see whether or not he will play another new song
Not sure if "So Much" was rehearsed in Verona. I heard the soundcheck and didn't hear anything familiar.
Show in Paris had a great vibe. WLA wasn't played - which is a bit sad, I like it. But the show is quite long anyway and Peter is 73. So this really is high level!

I haven't seen anything hilarious 🤔

Off to Milan.
I was really rushing to be there in time yesterday and the weather wasn’t really nice. So I hope for a relaxed experience today! -
13. Very strong track! But there are a few better ones on that album so 13 is a appropriate rating imo
-
Yesterday they rehearsed another completely unknown / new track in Verona. So that could also find its way onto the album. Let’s wait what kind of song this is (and what it’s name is)
Blukaos - have you heard this one during soundcheck?
I wasn’t sure but had the same impression. That must have been a new track they rehearsed. Maybe tonight in Milan …

Slegdehammer Krakow:
Peter Gabriel Kraków 18.05.2023, Sledgehammer, Don't Give Up, Red Rain, In Your Eyes - YouTube
Sledgehammer Verona:
ROCKFANS presenta: PETER GABRIEL live in Verona 20.05.23 [parte seconda e ultima] - YouTube
Find the differences....same hesitations same pauses...very strange....either Peter is a genius or the vocal track is recorded....
🤦🏼♂️
Seriously, those are clearly live takes. But you seem to seek the negative. Why? Such a strange approach to music we like.
I wonder why you haven’t posted anything about the hilarious In Your Eyes fuck-up in Krakow yet …
