Saw this video years ago. I always wondered why they didn’t do more promotion, this could have been a late hit single.
I love this version of the track. But they should have included Ray Wilson as well.
I haven’t seen them for quite a while. Enjoyed the Trick tour, so I may go and see the Lamb again. It’s still more than 1,5 years
Hey everyone
I came across this little video about Phil producing Frida‘s album, especially the track You Know What I Mean (I wasn’t even aware she did a cover of that song)
interesting, what do you think?
Did anybody buy this release and can share impressions about the quality etc?
Thx!
I like a couple of tracks from Kate, but never really listened to an album in full. Nevertheless, I was think about buying the live one, which was released a couple of years ago. Would you recommend that to start with, instead of a studio album?
are there plans to continue with this section? Always found it inspiring! Would be great!
I enjoy this podcast, but it's really nothing very revealing or suprising. The most suprising bit are the topis they have chosen for each letter, actually.
Well, it might happen that the UK will find a way to make these shows happen (i.e. vaccination etc).
But then you have plenty of tickets sold to fans outside the UK. And they might come from countries that are behind their schedule. Also, I assume they may introduce some sort of vaccination pass to let people in ...
having said that, should the September shows happen, that would produce a lot of disappoinment among fans as well (those who cannot attend)
That's great news! The double CD is still missing in my collection and I have always waited for a new version and a remaster.
Does anybody know which tracks they recorded but didn't use for the live album?
I can live without HOMH. What about some gems like Many Too Many?
... or Blood on the Rooftops! That would be doable for Phil I think.
Sounds VERY interesting. Funny sidenote: When I was younger I thought Strat and Tony Smith were the same person
I'mn also curious to learn more about Strat. Ordered!
Burn you up, burn you down!
one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing!
Winter's tale
Twilight alehouse
Pigeons
Paperlate
Feeding the fire
On the shoreline
Especially On the shoreline and Feeding the fire should have been album tracks!
listening to Simon Collins' new album Becoming human a lot these days. It's a grower - I didn't like it much when I first listened to it - but it grows over time. Well done, Simon!
would love Jesus he knows me on the setlist but doubt it
could live with that. I hope they play different stuff than 2007. Nobody needs more or less the same setlist again
I have no idea how and why this was recorded - but this should have been on "Plays well with others"!!!
Have a wonderful Christmas times everybody! Covid sucks, so let’s have some good vibes (but still be careful ...)
Been through the album a couple of times now and it's actually quite good! Even the track I wasn't too sure about (see above) is now among my favorites. One might probably get used to the sound of this record. Worth listening to!
