Let's team up and do an illegal remaster of that album, the way things look I wouldn't be surprised if Mike even wrote in his last will there must never be a remaster of Smallcreep's Day

It is a shame there are many Genesis songs from their catalog that were never played live: The Brazilian, Wot Gorilla?, Inside Out
There are live versions of all these tracks, you can find them on bootlegs. Wot Gorilla only as part of a medley though.
Reading through the latest comments, I found a bunch of songs I all prefer in live versions: The Musical Box, The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway (Seconds Out version!), Turn It On Again, and yes by any means Invisible Touch, that last one particularly in the 2007 version.

Any re-release of this album would make so many people happy. But Mike's mind seems to be impossible to change about that.

Haven't purchased any of the new Esoteric/Cherry Red issues yet, I got the Voiceprint double issues of PP&P 7/8 and 9/10; they are 2 CDs for 1 but they have some 2-second gaps between cohesive tracks that are a little annoying. My copy of City of Dreams just says "Floating World" something.
I'm very curious about the extra CDs that come with all the box sets, I haven't had the chance to hear anything off those.

Dodo and Abacan on Three Sides Live are way better than the studio versions.

I just purchased 'Alive in America' and finally ordered The Royal Scam. Just love this band, they were incredible and unique.

Hot summer, humid. Thunderstorms are announced. No, I'm not in Miami or in Bangkok, just near Freiburg, the hottest city in Germany (no pun intended).

Is this the same that was on the German page before? I've been reading that and I really enjoyed it, I was stunned how detailed your description is.

Le forum est mort, vive le forum!

No it was a great show, it's just I never had the chance before to see them. I remember how MTV reported them having the WCD tour, I was only 10 years old at that time; the CAS tour was ruled out for me, I was 16 and all shows were too far away and too expensive, or maybe it just didn't occur to me I could really go there because I never went to any concerts back in those days. So 2007 was the final chance and I am glad I took it, it was a 5-hour train trip there and back and I spent nearly 200,- € altogether but it was so worth it. It's just sad this was the only time ever I got to see a Genesis concert - but better late than never!

Funny enough, the old forum is still working though the countdown is down. But I guess it won't last for too long. When forums get old, they always grow into something like that basement or that attic that is filled with boxes of old stuff, when you dig into it you find so many things that you never need anymore and still they are all nostalgic memories.

München, 2007. First and only time I ever saw them live. Better than nothing I guess

Mike Rutherford accompanied Anthony Phillips also on the "Scottish Suite" on Private Parts & Pieces 2 and also on various tracks that ended up on Archive 1 and Archive 2.
And no, Tony worked only on Genesis albums on his own solo albums, being asked about collaborations he repeatedly stated he would be a bad collaborator, meaning he always wants things his way.

I just finished the first Narnia book and enjoyed it a lot! Now I'll have to dive into the works of C.S. Lewis...

I read it a while ago, really enjoyed it! Also it was the first Genesis book I read in English, not in a crappy German translation like Phil's and Mike's.

For me it's Wise After The Event right now
