whatever the gory details that the paper's are printing...you have to think it could effect Phil and does put Nic in a tough position. Hopefully they can work things through
Would be great..i guess a cameo would solve any issue about set lists..so he could do a few old numbers. PG has kept his distance but he may be game for it..after all he did tour with Sting ..so clearly more relaxed!

As mentioned a few weeks back..the full interview with SH and Guy Garvey...a man who certainly appreciates genesis. Steve in good form and a fine slab of Genesis on the radio!. Enjoy
yes that it is..first band to have 5 top 5 singles from one album in the US
When you think of all the great bands that came before..quite an achievement
Whatever you may think of IT ..hats off and shows that they were on a roll at the time
Over to you...
wasn't the answer i was thinking about (although may be the case). The question was more band specific
ok..hopefully fairly straightforward for a Monday morning!...genesis were the first band to achieve something in the USA...which was?

This link gives a list of albums and best charted history...similar to early list...although the Lamb slightly higher
Incidentally, Tommy Vance used to have an annual top 10 tracks of all time and I remember Suppers Ready always was in The top 3 once ..comment from Wayne
Now that takes me back...had a recorded show on tape that played to death. Each year you voted for best rock tracks....from memory my tape had Stairway..SR...Freebird...Xanadu..Stargazer..and some others that may come to me...good memory
my 82 t shirt perished many moons ago....however it was a medium size and think i would struggle to get half of my torso into it now...i do believe that shirt sizing has changed drastically! 😂
well for most people SR and genesis will be in the same sentence if you asked for highlights. As above I was there in 82 when played it live...in an era of pre internet and setlists being published was a very welcome number and a lasting memory...along with Phil wearing a snorkel and mask!
Phil's emotion in the closing section had always been one of my all time favourites
Not many bands that do not play live in whole or part , one of their iconic songs . Have always thought that the old medley could have easily started/ended with the bookends to SR...but clearly the band do not feel the same way
just listening to the Kate bush feature on Guy Garvey...really good listen to an album masterpiece
Mr Hackett sounded on good form and the extended interview is to be broadcast at a later date....good to hear Horizons and Spectral Mornings on the radio!
one of those group decisions about releasing recordings that are squirrelled away. All artists different..go on spotify and see the number of live recordings on their from Yes...
Always thought about the 1976 'in concert ' movie....there has to have been recordings done of the full shows which have never seemed to have made the light of day...which is such a shame
agree with backdrifter..Phoenix horns were 5 piece and played a few shows on the US tour.. think it was Paperlate and No reply
i think may have already had this answer..and not sure fits the clues but...
The singles were released in order as on the album?...so abacab first single ...no reply at all 2nd single and so on
Same for The Lamb
🤔would that not apply to Home by the sea pt 1 and 2 as well?
Testing me this one🤔..a couple of obscure options...longest track is the 5th song?
The first track and last track start with the same letter?.(A and T )...haven't checked if applys to other albums as well though!
my mates brother was older than us and into his music.around 1979..he gave me a tape with Trick on one side but can't remember what was on the other side. Took me on a journey going back through all the old albums....reckon SO may have been the first one officially bought but may have been Duke
Great times as a youngster having nothing better to do than listening and discovering great music 😊
struggling with any obvious link...other than were released as singles at the time....may need to think a bit harder!
Willow farm was the B side to Watcher...don't remember seeing it on Top of the Pops😂
Justin Hayward was with Gouldman when ran into a spot of trouble in the Caribbean
