Tough choice
San Jacinto
Wallflower
Lay your hands on me
I don’t like Kiss of life, but that seems to be a general taste here ….
I thought it would be good to have the upcoming chart positions in one thread. I noticed that the album achieved some great midweek positions in various countries. So let’s see what happens tomorrow, when at least the UK and Germany will publish their new album charts…
For me, "Road To Joy", "Love Can Heal" and the amazing "Live And Let Live" are the three best tracks on i/o,
This is just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !!!!
A great finale for a great record.
14 points
I always thought this was something special. But the album version is not the best one, that's why I did not give 15 points. The version on the Art Of Peace / Tibet sampler is the best, I think!
oh yes, this version is also great!
Mercy street, Red rain .... and:
This is the picture!
I love this track
Can't believe I did not see this poll so far
Darkness, Sky blue, I grieve
Not my favorite Gabriel album, but like many others, this has grown over time
15/15
I like the VH-1 honors version a lot, probably the first one that ever surfaced. And then the new blood version as well!
Well, the clapping is in the final mix. - At least if you consider the Bright-Side Mix as one of the final ones.
... indeed it is. The post band mix is just different. The clapping is much more prominent in the mix. I like it as well!
I see there's less discussion for this track here? But I must admit, it's a rather complicated one.
The Bright-Side Mix is now available
An easy one for me
1 Come talk to me
2 Love to be loved
3 Secret world.
then:
4 Digging in the dirrt
5 Washing of the water
6 Steam
7 Kiss that frog
8 Blood of eden
9 Fourteen black paintings
10 Only us
When I bought the album, I thought "Only us" was something like the US title track and expected a strong numer and played it first. Quite a disappointment...
"We're sons of our fathers" - that is my favorite track on Both sides!
then "We fly so close" - one of his best ballads!
And "Survivors", that worked even better in concert.
There is also a track on this record that reminded me of Peter, and that is "Can't find my way". This and the title track are also in my top 5.
Just heard the post band version of "This is home" on bandcamp and I think those clapping elements should have made it to the final mix. They really add something lively to the track.
15/15
This song (among others) made me a fan. Can't stop listening to this.
My favorite version is on the "Secret world live" album
At the moment it's lie this:
love can heal
road to joy
i/o
the court
four kinds of horses
and still
playing for time
this is home
so much
panopticom
olive tree
There is indeed a lack of melody. But the composition / arrangement is just wonderful.
Love it!!!
Just love it. Even more than Love can heal.
That’s a good news!
Depends. If that is true, then chances are not that good for more shows in 2024, I think.
Peter has shared this video on Facebook, so kind of Gabriel approved then

no, not for me.
I'd rather have an original Gabriel music video.
