Two weeks ago, Genesis have announced the release of the 3CD-set R-Kive, a collection of tracks from all eras of the band plus solo songs. Details can be found in our news section here. Also, a comment was written about the R-Kive set and the announcement procedure, which can be found here. We have also reported that a new documentary DVD will be released later this year.
Today and yesterday, a couple of websites reported that the new DVD and Blu-ray, Sum Of The Parts, contains two documentaries. That would be the Together And Apart documentary, which will be aired by BBC in October, and the other one is called Sum Of The Parts. We are actually very sure that the documentary on the new DVD / Blu-ray is the full length documentary called Sum Of The Parts, while Together And Apart is an edited version for the TV broadcast. The documentary on the DVD / Blu-ray is 90 minutes long. Besides that, nearly 30 minutes of bonus material will be on this release. The bonus material are bonus interviews, which have not been used for the documentary. The DVD and Blu-ray are set for a mid-November-release.
Yet another release this year will be a Blu-ray of the Three Sides Live film, also scheduled for this November. We will give details about the technical specifications and the content very soon.
