“Against All Odds” (movie) on Blu-ray in Australia

At the moment it seems to be an Australian exclusive release. The movie Against All Odds from 1984 will be released on Blu-ray in Australia.

Rachel Ward, Jeff Bridges, James Woods, and Jane Greer star in this romantic thriller, from the Academy Award-nominated director of An Officer and a Gentleman, Taylor Hackford.

Terry Brogan, a cynical ex-football star, is hired to find the runaway mistress of a ruthless L.A. nightclub owner. Driven by passion for the mysterious young woman, Terry quickly finds himself trapped in a complex web of corruption, betrayal, and murder.

Adapted from the novel Build My Gallows High, Roger Ebert awarded the film three out of four stars, and the title song Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now) by Phil Collins was nominated for an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and a Grammy Award.

The Blu-ray will be released on 28 February. Only 1,500 copies will be made.
