20 years of 'it': Alexander Pfaff
Alexander Pfaff has been a member for ten years. He has been around for all of the online years so far and shares his thoughts.

I found out about the club through a flyer at a concert by the Aschaffenburg band 'Seconds Out' and signed up as a member in July 2001 at the age of 25. So I'm celebrating my 10th birthday as an active club member at the same time, so to speak.
Genesis and the whole scene have always had a big influence on my life, and the club, its members and various activities have played a big part in that. Of course, I would have attended and experienced various concerts by Phil, Peter, Genesis, Steve and TMB even without the club, but experiencing them in a club community together with people who are at least as 'disturbed' as I am, or exchanging ideas with them, are completely different experiences that I carry deep within me and would not want to miss. Ultimately, without the club, I would not have known about certain events or, as a normal fan, would not have had access to them at all. These include not only RayVent and IT Sampler, but also, for example, the club days with the rarities exhibitions or the upcoming event, which will show us unique Lamb material in a special circle.
Friendships have also developed through the club, and so not only were two Genesis songs incorporated into our ceremony at my wedding, but friends from the club were also present as guests. Later, we kept meeting up, not only at concerts, but also at home for coffee or lunch, and spent a lot of time listening to bootlegs, talking shop about this and that, and reminiscing about various experiences and concert memories.
An absolute highlight that would never have happened without the club was the development of my relationship with TMB. Thanks to the club, I found out about TMB earlier than any normal fan out there, so I was at the first concert in Europe and saw the show in London and the performance with Steve. This was followed by an intense interest, combined with almost five years of freelance work for the promoter in promotion and event management and around 20 TMB concerts attended in Germany, England and, of course, Geneva at the legendary performance with Phil.
Through the club, I was able to expand my knowledge and spectrum regarding Genesis, make friends, laugh and cry together, travel and experience fantastic things that would never have been possible in this way otherwise. For this, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the 'Holy Four Kings', but also to all the helpers and active members in the background who have made the club what it is today.
I wish the club all the best on its birthday and hope that we will celebrate and experience many more birthdays together, even if our heroes are no longer with us. But the spirit and the music will keep the club and its activities alive for much longer.
Thanks for being part of my life!
With this in mind, all the best and thank you!
