Genesis: "Duke" and "Wind & Wuthering" Acoustic Sounds Vinyl announced

The Genesis albums Duke and Wind & Wuthering will be added Acoustic Sounds series and will be released on 45RPM vinyl.

Several months ago, Atlantic Records announced the release of albums by Genesis and Phil Collins on high quality vinyl. Details can be found here.

At the time, Atlantic announced the release of the Genesis albums Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England By The Pound, The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, A Trick Of The Tail, Abacab and Genesis. It was unclear why Wind & Wuthering and Duke were not part of the plans.

But now, Atlantic revealed plans to release new editions of the two albums. Wind & Wuthering and Duke will come out on 180g vinyl with 45 RPM playback – like the other albums. This will make them double vinyl LPs as well. As far as we know, both albums are not part of the before mentioned Atlantic Records 75 Series, but still belong to the Acoustic Sounds series.

UPDATE 15 January 2026: Wind & Wuthering is now available for pre-order via Acoustic Sounds on 3LP (!) and Hybrid Stereo SACD here. In Europe, the vinyl is available via Michael45.

Editor's note: In an earlier version of this news piece, we stated that both album will be added to the 75th anniversary of Atlantic Records series (Vinyl / SACD). This is not correct. The two albums will come on vinyl as described above, but "only" as part of the Acoustic Sounds releases. No SACDs are planned.
