Genesis: Exclusive “The Carpet Crawlers” single in German Rolling Stone magazine

The June issue of the German Rolling Stone magazine contains an exclusive Genesis The Carpet Crawlers single (on 7″ vinyl).

Six years ago, there was already a vinyl single supplement in the German Rolling Stone magazine with a Genesis reference. At that time, a single of the Phil Collins song In The Air Tonight was included (we reported). Now, in light of the announced box set for the Genesis album The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway (info here), Rolling Stone has announced a corresponding supplement for the June issue of the magazine!

The June 2025 issue (#6) will contain an exclusive 7″ vinyl single of the Genesis song The Carpet Crawlers. In addition to the album version, the live version from Los Angeles (both remastered 2025) will be available as a B-side. The world exclusive 7″ single comes in a solid, carefully designed cardboard cover and on heavyweight vinyl. It is only available with the German edition of ROLLING STONE and will not be available in record stores.

The June issue of the magazine is available in German shops since 30 May can be ordered in the German Rolling Stone Shop. They also ship to destinations outside Germany.
