Genesis: Latest info about the European tour

Some details about possible COVID-related restrictions

Fans in Europe were wondering whether or not the shows in Europe in March would go ahead. Now it's official - The third leg of the Genesis The Last Domino? tour will kick off in Berlin on 7th March. All shows were approved by local authorities. COVID-regulations apply, and those are different in each city.

Last update: 16th Mar 2022

GERMANY

The situation in Germany was the most difficult in whole Europe and we are more than happy things evolved positively.

HANNOVER: Both shows have been approved! Lower Saxony (Hanover shows) has published their rules - the general rule is 60% of full capacity and 6.000 people allowed indoor, masks required - but: a venue can be filled up to 75% of its maximum capacity, in this case a vaccination proof and test / booster (2G+) is mandatory and no limitation regarding number of people - see this file (in German).

75% works because the maximum capacity is never met for rock shows with an end stage and seats everywhere. No word yet from the promoters, but this sounds like the minimum condition they need to run the shows. No details yet about Berlin and Cologne, but the officials are evaluating details at the moment.

BERLIN: Both shows have been approved on 23rd February!

COLOGNE: All three shows in Cologne are approved (update from 22nd February)!

NETHERLANDS

Genesis will play in Amsterdam and the two shows are unique since standing tickets were also sold. Nevertheless, the govement announced yesterday that shows of this size will be possible (you need a negative test result, or a valid vaccination. We do not know what kind of test will be valid and whether or not tests from abroad are also valid. In addition, the new measures will be evaluated on 15th March, so before the Amsterdam shows. Also, new information pops in daily, so check back for more info.

Please also check the venue's website for more details in the upcoming weeks.

UPDATE 17/02/22: It looks like fully vaccinated people from outside the Netherlands can access the shows without a test. More info to follow.

UPDATE 16/03/22:

For seat ticket holders there is no test required for the access to the concerts.

All standing ticket holders will need a test. This is regardless of vaccination and/or recovery status.

A statement of Ziggo Dome from yesterday (15/03/22): Test from abroad will not be accepted to fulfill the entry requirements for the Genesis concerts.

We highly recommend all standing ticket holders to book a test appointment via Testen voor Toegang in time for the concerts. Test are valid for 24 hours. In addition to that all standing ticket holders should load the Dutch CoronaCheck-App on their mobile phones. Test certificate will be loaded up to this App and can be scanned from there at the venue doors.

Maybe in the end tests from abroad might be accepted at the venues doors as well. But this is not guaranteed. Therefore we are giving the before mentioned recommendation.

Yesterday, the dutch authorities announced that the 1G-regulation will be lifted from 23 March 2022. As the concerts take place on 21 and 22 March 2022, this regulation will still be effective for the Genesis shows.

FRANCE

The shows in France (Paris) are safe. At the moment, regulations require a valid vaccination pass and to wear a mask inside the venue. Please check this link for more info.

UK

The London shows are safe. There are no restrictions any more.
