John Giblin has died

Giblin has worked with Gabriel and Collins among others

Bassist John Giblin passed away the day before yesterday. He is best known to Genesis fans for his contributions to the albums III, Birdy (Peter Gabriel); Face Value, Hello, I Must Be Going! (Phil Collins) and Product and Do They Hurt? (Brand X). He also played with countless other greats such as Mark Knopfler, Sting, Annie Lennox, Simple Minds, Richard Ashcroft and Kate Bush - and that's just a small selection. Giblin died on 14 May, aged 71. This was reported by KateBushNews with reference to the Facebook page of the band Osibisa.

Some say it is one of the best Live-Albums ever. Genesis' Seconds Out became a milestone and also marked the end of the classic years.
