Peter Gabriel: “Digging In The Dirt” instrumental on Bandcamp

The third Peter Gabriel track within a few days was made available on Bandcamp yesterday, coinciding with the full moon – this time an instrumental version of Digging In The Dirt.

Just in time for the full moon, the next track, Digging In The Dirt (Long Busk Instrumental), was released yesterday. Peter writes:

This instrumental busk version of Digging in the Dirt is from June, 1992, so just three months before the release of the Digging in the Dirt single and the album US. It is a longer version of what would ostensibly become the Instrumental mix that featured on the Digging single formats (available on Flotsam and Jetsam), presented here before the additional production work was done. Though it might have something of a familiar feel to the die-hard listener, we thought it different enough to warrant its place as a full moon track.

Gabriel’s Full Moon Club on Bandcamp provides fans with at least three tracks per month and costs £3 per month. A credit card is required for the subscription. You can find the Full Moon Club here.
