Peter Gabriel: “Growing Up (Full Moon Club Instrumental)” added on Bandcamp

After almost four weeks of silence, an alternative instrumental version of Growing Up appeared on Bandcamp yesterday.

The last new track was released on 7 September, coinciding with the September full moon, on Bandcamp’s Full Moon Club. Now, with a slight delay, another track has been made available.

Growing Up (Full Moon Club Instrumental) dates back to 1998 and was one of the tracks considered for OVO at the time. Peter writes:

Another one is Growing Up, and this version of the song is taken from a DAT, dated June 1998, containing ideas for the Millennium Dome. There are limited tape notes, but this appears to be a moment where Peter is exploring bass synth parts for the song.

Gabriel’s Full Moon Club on Bandcamp provides fans with at least three tracks per month and costs £3 per month. A credit card is required for the subscription. You can find the Full Moon Club here.
