Peter Gabriel live albums to be released on vinyl and CD

Two Peter Gabriel live albums will be released on vinyl and CD in the spring. Live At WOMAD 1982 will be available as a 2LP with an etched side.

The rumour was already out before the turn of the year (as we reported). The two Peter Gabriel live albums In The Big Room and Live At WOMAD 1982 will be released on CD and vinyl in the spring (see below for individual release dates). Both albums were previously released digitally last year.

In The Big Room

The live album In The Big Room is a recording of a concert at Real World Studios on 23 November 2003, which was played for the members of his Full Moon Club at the time. The concert had already been released in parts on Bandcamp under the title Lunatics In The Big Room. The final version for the live album includes the following songs:

Live At WOMAD 1982

The potentially more interesting live album is Live At WOMAD 1982. It is a recording of Peter Gabriel's own performance at the very first WOMAD festival in 1982. This performance was quite rough, but nevertheless became a legendary concert. This is because Peter Gabriel played only new songs from his fourth album, which had not yet been released at the time, with the exception of Biko. Although

Wallflower was missing, I Go Swimming was played, which was not included on the fourth album in the end. The album contains the following tracks:
