Peter Gabriel: “Live At WOMAD 1982” comes 8 August

Peter Gabriel will release another live album on digital platforms next week. Live At WOMAD 1982 contains his set of the first festival.

Things have been quiet lately at Peter Gabriel’s Full Moon Club on Bandcamp, and the reason for this could be the announcement of another live album. Following In The Big Room, which was released on 27 June, Live At WOMAD 1982 will be released on 8 August. This album contains the live set that Peter Gabriel himself played at his first WOMAD festival. Excerpts from it have already been released in 2022.

The newly announced album contains the following tracks:

San Jacinto
The Family And The Fishing Net
I Have The Touch
Lay Your Hands On Me
Shock The Monkey
I Go Swimming
The Rhythm Of The Heat
Kiss Of Life
Biko

David Rhodes (guitar)
John Giblin (bass)
Larry Fast (synthesisers)
Jerry Marotta (drums)
Peter Hammill (guitar, vocals)
Ekomé (drums, percussion).
Peter Gabriel (vocals, keyboards)

Seven tracks they performed on the Friday night were unreleased at the time and would appear a few weeks later on his fourth album.

The Rhythm Of The Heat is already available, with the rest to be released next week. Bandcamp subscribers will get this album for free.

The album can be ordered and downloaded digitally from different platforms and is available for streaming, including Bandcamp. Peter has indicated the album will be released on physical media at a later date.
