Peter Gabriel: “OVO” on vinyl (Record Store Day 2025)

On this year’s Record Store Day there will be a special colored vinyl edition of the Peter Gabriel album OVO.

This year’s Record Store Day will take place on April 12. The aim is to strengthen traditional record stores. That’s why there are special editions and exclusive releases (mostly on vinyl) on this day, which are usually not available online but only in participating record stores.

Peter Gabriel is taking part this year with a new edition of his album OVO. To mark the 25th anniversary of this album, there will be a 180g 2LP version with two vinyl colors – blue and orange. A 20-page booklet The Story Of OVO is also included. The set will also include a download code. This is the first time OVO gets released on vinyl.

Peter Gabriel – OVO is available as a colored 2LP in participating record stores. A list of participating stores in the UK is available here.

OVO features a whole host of guest musicians, including vocal contributions from Paul Buchanan, Elizabeth Fraser and Richie Havens.
