Steve Hackett: Re-issues of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in November

In November, InsideOut will release new editions of Steve Hackett’s classic album A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

In 1997, Steve Hackett released the classical album A Midsummer Night’s Dream together with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The album was a musical homage to Shakespeare’s classic play.

Steve himself plays classical guitar on the album, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Matt Dunkley. Roger King and John Hackett were also part of the project. You can find a review of the original release here.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream has now been remastered and will be released on 21st November as a 180g gatefold vinyl LP and CD digipak. There will also be an exclusive magenta vinyl version (limited to 300 copies!).
