The Musical Box return in 2026 with new 1976-1980 show!

Canadian Tribute band The Musical Box have announced a brand new show for 2026, covering the Genesis period from 1976 until 1980.

The Musical Box became famous for their state of the art recreation of the famous early Genesis shows. They toured the world presenting the Foxtrot show, the black and white Selling England show and of course the legendary The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway show. In addition, they have also presented the Trick Of The Tail show several years ago.

More recently, they covered some new ground by presenting the Genesis Extravaganza, which basically was a celebration show that was not based on an original show concept, but contained pieces of those plus some surprises for fans. Today, the band has announced their brand new show for 2026.

The Musical Box have announced a UK tour for 2026: And Then There Was … Phil!

As the title suggest, the program will contain stuff from the post-Gabriel-era up and it covers music up until the Duke album. The band writes: Finally, the fitting show to one of the most impactful artist and performer of our times, through Genesis’ incredible prog rock repertoire, including classic tracks from A Trick Of The Tail, Wind & Wuthering, And Then There Were Three and Duke.

For those of you wondering – Denis Gagne will be singing and also drumming Phil’s part during this tour.
