Genesis are back on stage. We met Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford backstage in Hannover, Germany, on their 2007 Turn It On Again tour.
Brussels, 04/06/2007 – Genesis play a dress rehearsal to some 250 people: a show with the full production. It took place at Expo Hall 5. The GNC staff were there and Christian Gerhardts describes his impressions.
Rereleases with bonus material are always popular. Just in time for the tour there has been a re-release of the Hits compilation (originally 1999) as an extended limited edition and the additional label "tour edition". Find out whether it is worth getting.
The 1976-1982 boxset will not only contain new 5.1 mixes, but also completely new stereo mixes that can be enjoyed both in SACD stereo and in normal CD stereo. This is why a sampler CD was released as a teaser. We have listened to it very carefully.
Just before the release of the first SACD/DVD boxset covering the studio albums from 1976-1982 a promo DVD was given out. It contains 5.1 versions in Dolby Digital and dts sound. We checked it out.
