Ten years after the A History video from 1991 Genesis have published the more compact and up-to-date Genesis Songbook. Whether the new approach in this documentary lives up to the first attempt from 1991 is something Christian Gerhardts considers in this review.

From November to mid-December 1997 Genesis had scheduled the first leg of their North American tour. Slow ticket sales and technical problems caused that part of the tour to be postponed indefinitely first and cancelled completely later. The first show was therefore the Budapest show on 29/01/1998.
Besides the eleven tracks on the album itself Calling All Stations spawned seven more new tracks that were released on a number of singles.
