Alan Hewitt’s book offers a rapid introduction to the world of Genesis. He introduces the major events as well as all members of the band, providing a relatively comprehensive biography. A special feature of this book is a table of tour dates as they were known at the time the book was prepared for printing.

From November to mid-December 1997 Genesis had scheduled the first leg of their North American tour. Slow ticket sales and technical problems caused that part of the tour to be postponed indefinitely first and cancelled completely later. The first show was therefore the Budapest show on 29/01/1998.
On 25 August 1997, Genesis presented their new album Calling All Stations to the European public at Alex in Berlin. The German Genesis Fan Club was there and also had the opportunity to speak with the two founding members of Genesis.
Since Phil Collins left Genesis in 1996, a lot of rumours were spread about the future of Genesis and a possible replcement. Even a comeback of Peter Gabriel was rumoured and names like Steve Hackett, Fish, Paul Carrack, Chester Thompson or Daryl Stuermer circulated, then Ray Wilson became the new singer.
