Phil Collins: Hall of Fame induction Fan-Event in Los Angeles

Fan's four year grassroots campaign for Phil Collins' Rock Hall of Fame solo induction was successful – global Fan Event announced for L.A.
What started as a grieving widow's diversion, has culminated in a celebration. Traci Baker, founder of the grassroots #getphilvotedin campaign, announced a global Fan Event taking place on Friday, Nov. 13, 2026, in Los Angeles, celebrating music icon Phil Collins' long-overdue induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist.
The campaign, turned worldwide fan movement, began with a profound personal loss. In April 2021, Baker lost her 58-year-old husband to colon cancer. Driven by his deep love for Collins' music, Baker was the sole force behind a professionally structured, four-year campaign via Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and podcasts. Her mission was clear: convince the Rock Hall Nominating Committee to correct a 20-year oversight to recognize Collins for his solo career.
Following years of targeted outreach—including a pivotal meeting in 2025 with film producer John Wood (The Session Man: Nicky Hopkins)—Baker's efforts seem to have created a breakthrough. This April, the Rock Hall officially announced Collins as part of their 2026 Class.
To celebrate, Baker is hosting an ambitious Fan Event on Nov. 13, at the Ritz Carlton Downtown LA, kicking off Rock Hall induction weekend. Collins fans are flying in from across the globe—including Australia, New Zealand, and the Virgin Islands—to unite in celebration.
"Once I decided to commit myself to this passion project, it was game on. I never gave up," shared Baker. "Clearly, it's all down to Phil, a true music legend, but if my efforts encouraged the Rock Hall to move more quickly to nominate him, that's reason enough
to celebrate!"
The high-energy Fan Event will feature a performance by TAD Management's premier tribute act, "One More Night: The Phil Collins and Genesis Experience," along with a full cash bar, food, and photo stations equipped with authentic tour road cases, campaign décor and swag. Baker even has a red carpet to welcome fans.
"I hope all Phil Collins fans will join the party to celebrate this historic moment," said Baker. Also appearing is British Rock Musician, Brian Chatton. A co-founding member of Flaming Youth, Collins' last band before joining Genesis. Chatton has worked with The Hollies, Meat Loaf, Jon Anderson of Yes, Sheena Easton, and others, and had a Billboard Hot 100 hit co-writing 1985's I Want to be Cowboy. Chatton is thrilled to attend the event to honor his longtime friend, and will sign copies of his book, Rolling with Rock Royalty.
The event will feature a raffle of rare, autographed and other Phil Collins and Genesis memorabilia. A separate charity auction, featuring one (of five) custom Gretsch snare drums created for the event, will be held in part to benefit the MusiCares Foundation in honor of late trumpet legend Harry Kim, who played with Collins for 30+ years. Another of the drums is slated for donation to benefit The King's Trust. The charity to aid vulnerable youth is celebrating Collins' 40 years of service to the organization this year. Baker also plans to present one of the commemorative drums to Collins himself.

Various event packages are offered; some with limited edition (of 144) campaign items commemorating the historic induction, including custom Promark Drumsticks and Remo Drumheads. Both companies, along with Gretsch, have a long association with Collins and were enthusiastic.
