Genesis: "A Trick Of The Tail" / "Wind & Wuthering" on colored vinyl

In December, the two Genesis albums A Trick Of The Tail and Wind & Wuthering will be released on coloured vinyl.

This year, two Genesis albums are celebrating their 50th anniversary. A Trick of The Tail and Wind & Wuthering were both released in 1976.

The band has now announced two special vinyl editions:

A Trick Of The Tail will be reissued on "lava red" vinyl and Wind & Wuthering will be released in a "lone tree green" version. Both are due out on 18 December 2026, just before Christmas.

So, whilst we won't be getting a box set as we'd imagined on 1 April, at least there's a joint release to mark the anniversary.

For both albums, the 2007 Nick Davis remixes were used. The vinyl is now available for preorder online (for example: the official Genesis store or Burningshed).
