Peter Gabriel: "So" in Dolby ATMOS?

Somewhat surprisingly, Peter Gabriel's song Don't Give Up appeared today on streaming platforms in a new Dolby ATMOS remix.

Many had been expecting a new Dolby ATMOS remix to mark the 40th anniversary of the album So – perhaps as part of a new box set.

Today, a new Dolby ATMOS version of Don't Give Up did indeed appear as a digital single on streaming platforms (Apple, Amazon, Tidal). This suggested that the entire album would follow in due course.

UPDATE: The Full Moon email from Peter Gabriel now clarifies that the mix is by Kevin Killen, who also mixed the original album.

However, things remain somewhat unclear regarding further ATMOS tracks. It states, "we hope there might be Atmos mixes of other songs to follow". It is therefore currently unclear whether the entire album will come out in ATMOS and, consequently, whether there will be a Blu-ray version of it.
