Peter Gabriel: The tenth track on "o\i" is called "Face The Wall"

On the night of the full moon on 26 September, Face The Wall – the tenth track from Peter Gabriel's upcoming album o\i – will be released.

As with i/o, Peter Gabriel is releasing the tracks from his 2026 album o\i one by one on each full moon. Thanks to the regional full-moon release schedule, we always know half a day in advance which track will be released next.

On 26 September, Face The Wall will be released, initially in the Dark-Side Mix by Tchad Blake – the Bright-Side Mix by Mark 'Spike' Stent will then follow on the new moon on 10 October. There will also be a Bandcamp-exclusive version. This is often (but not always) made available between the new moon and the next full moon. The Dark-Side mix of this song is 4:45 minutes long, so, after several longer tracks, we've now returned to songs of a standard length.

Peter also had a little surprise for his fans: The new album will contain 13 tracks. In January he talked about 12 tracks.

The cover art for Face The Wall is called The Nest. It is by the Japanese artist Tadashi Kawamata and was created in 2022.

Face The Wall will be available at midnight on all streaming services (YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and others). It will be available on Bandcamp at around 9.30 am European time. There (as well as on Qobuz*, for example), you can also purchase it as a download in high-resolution formats. Full Moon Club subscribers on Bandcamp will receive the track automatically.
