It was three years after the end of the tour for Peter Gabriel's most successful album that the accompanying concert film came out in 1990. It has never been released on digital media, but we still take a look at it.
With his fifth solo album, Peter Gabriel made the leap to superstardom in 1986. So was catchy without ever being trite, and enjoyed huge success on both sides of the Atlantic.
The studio album New Blood is followed closely by the concert film from the tour. Peter Gabriel – New Blood Live In London was filmed during two shows that were scheduled specifically for the shooting at the Hammersmith Apollo in London in March 2011.

In the early 90s Peter Gabriel set up the RealWorld Recording Weeks where artists from all across the world would record music in a kind of "musical brainstorming". One thing that came out of this is the album Big Blue Ball. It is not a Peter Gabriel album, but a collaboration project that took more than fifteen years to be released.
