I love CAS and think it’s criminally underrated.

You might recall.

From the bootlegs I’ve heard, the suppers ready portion from the invisible touch tour was really taxing on Phil‘s voice. He sounded terrible trying to reach those high notes. It’s not his fault, it’s just the way the song was written. I don’t think an official version of that song would be very good.

EDIT - in fact it's just reminded me, it puts me in mind of Noel's melodramatic keyboard stings in the Ham Radio episode of Frasier, as heard here at around 01:12 just after "the lines have been cut!"
Look out, he’s got a nug!

I have many of his solo recordings and love all of them. He’s a great performer worthy of greater attention.

Anyone here pick up the SEBTP yet? I hope to soon !

It’s really awesome. As a fan of both Genesis and the synthwave genre this is a great track !

I purchased SO just after it was released. I figured this song would fly up the charts immediately, but it wasn't until the 90s that I suddenly heard it spring up in commercials, movie promos, etc. A late bloomer of a song but a good one.

Yeah it won't happen. We'll just have to settle for things like Freddy Mercury singing Your Own Special Way, and hopefully at some stage Snoop Dogg's version of Supper's Ready (Shizupper's Ready, G).
Shizzle's Ready
Foshizzle You, Foshizzle Me
Firth of Fizzle
Tonizzle, Tonizzle, Tonizzle
Happy Friday!
