I listened to all their albums in university and most of them left me cold. While I can see why people like them, they are just not for me. The only three albums by them that I still sometimes listen to are "Atom Heart Mother", "Meddle" and "Obscured By Clouds" probably because they seem to have the most heart and warmth.

Threshold gets better and better to me every time I hear their albums. I used to view them as kind of generic but still decent prog metal, but after hearing their albums many times, I now feel I've truly "got" them and their specific sound has really grown on me.

I only recently got into Foo Fighters through their most recent album, Medicine at Midnight.

R.I.P. to Taylor Hawkins, he had a lot of drugs him in at the time so it's clear he was struggling.
