Peter Gabriel: "Looking For The Happy – Happy Groove" on Bandcamp

A Bandcamp subscriber bonus for Looking For The Happy was released as early as Monday. Now, a second alternative version of the track has been released. It is titled Happy Groove.
The fact that there are now two demo versions of this song is likely to confirm once and for all that there will be no further releases from One By One.
As for what else is being said about this Happy Groove version:
"This new addition to Bandcamp is Looking for the Happy at the point where Peter was still working on lyrics – spring 2025 – so this version features some interesting alternate lyrics and double-tracked verse vocals.
It was also long before Peter added the brass during the chorus, so these sections feel a bit more sparse. There's no Tony Levin here, but David Rhodes and Manu Katché are present. There is also a fair amount of Peter's synths and keys parts which remain in the final mix but have more prominence here."
Looking For The Happy (Happa Groove) is now available in your Bandcamp libraries. You can find an article covering all versions of the song here.
Gabriel's Full Moon Club on Bandcamp provides fans with at least three tracks per month and costs £3 per month. A credit card is required for the subscription. You can find the Full Moon Club here.
