Peter Gabriel: "RE Industrial Mix" of "A Hard Lesson" on Bandcamp

While fans are already eagerly awaiting the new song, there is now also a third mix (RE Industrial Mix) of the latest track, A Hard Lesson, on Bandcamp.

Just in time for the current full moon, members of the Full Moon Club on Bandcamp will receive the third version of the song A Hard Lesson.

This version is an instrumental version of Richard Evans' industrial mix, which originally dates back to 1998.

The info on Bandcamp:

Peter felt that his was the most 'together' version of the idea and when the band convened at Real World Studios for a session in 2025, this is the version that he and the band tracked to. It was first time the band had revisited the song that had been known for many years as 'Dakar 12' since 1996.

Thankfully, Richard had printed the stems to tape, which allowed Charles Hughes to rebuild the song as a tracking project for the 2025 session and this instrumental version was the starting point.
