Anthony Phillips and Joji Hirota have attracted the interest of nature filmmaker Nick Gordon, who produces films for the Survival series, for which Ant has also contributed. For a first collaboration - the Survival special Creatures Of The Magic Water - library tracks from Travalogue 4 as well as newly recorded takes are used. The episode is first broadcast on ITV on 10 July 1996.

There is another musical collaboration for Anthony Phillips with Rog Peterson for producer Keith Halden, who - to mark the sad anniversary of the first atomic bomb "Trinity" 50 years ago - needs music for his 30-minute radio special Barabbas The Witness, which will be broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland on 16 July 1995.

In spring, Ant concentrates on recordings, most of which will find a place on his next album Dragonfly Dreams, the ninth part of the Private Parts & Pieces series. The selection also includes pieces that he had already started three years earlier or have their origins in the early 80s.

Even before Ant's new album is available on the market, a collaboration with the Argentinean Guillermo Cazenave, who lives in Spain and is also a master of guitar and keyboard instruments, takes place. Joint jam sessions in Ants' studio result in joint tracks or new versions of older works, which will appear on the joint album The Meadows Of Englewood.

Back home, they are producing again for Atmosphere, who need material for their projects Virtual Corporation, Loops & Grooves and Hard Drama.

1981

Anthony Phillips decides that his next work should be another purist piano album like Ivory Moon. He spends the first three months writing pieces for it, and records the first in the period from May to July.

Ant again contributes several tracks to the Atmosphere Library projects Weird, Space & Science and Hard Drama 2. Only two tracks from the latter will find their way to the listener over the years.
