For me, "I Grieve" is one of the best tracks here. I also like "Sky Blue" and "Darkness".
A difficult album to digest, I tend to like it more these days than 20 years back.

For me,
Red rain
In your eyes
Mercy street
are the best tracks on So. Sledgehammer and Don't give up come close.
Haven't heard this in a while, but the title track, "It's not too late" and "Can't stop loving you" are my favorite tracks. I also like "Don't get me started" and "Thru my eyes".
Overall, it's probably the weakes of all Collins albums
I only listened to this albums twice or maybe three times. Perhaps I should try it again, but I do remember it sounded bad and there were not a lot great song ideas on it.
Could really be an advantage that this album is rather short (45 min / 13 tracks). The previous couple of albums always lacked a bit, so maybe it's not that unwise to keep things shorter.
Nevertheless, I am really curious what this story will be about.
Hi there
I watched some of the live videos again recently .
Genesis have played a number of different medleys on their tours. I know that these medleys don't really have many fans, but I was wondering which ones the fans like better and which ones they don't.
Personally I like the "Fading Lights / Cinema Show / Afterglow" medley from the last tour ( but the first time I heard it I thought: what's the hell is that?)
I also really like the "Cage" medley with the end of "Supper's Ready" from 1986.
I used to like the Old Medley from the '92 tour, but not so much anymore.
And you?
Maybe we an also add a poll later ....
It's hard for me to watch this. We all know what an extraordinary drummer he was and it doesn't look lilke he can enjoy this endeavour.
For me, "Secret world" is one of his best songs ever. I was surprised he didn't play that during the i/o tour.
"Come talk to me" comes close ...
Then "Love to be loved", one of his hidden gems maybe, but this has always been a favorite of mine as well.
I really hope he does Here Comes the Flood here in Denver! I really like Washing of the Water too, but Flood is one of my favorites.
I'd be happy either way tho.
German fans never get the English version of "Flood"
Anyway, enjoy the show!

oh, that is so nice!
I really hope we will see him on stage again soon. All the best!
Can't believe I didn't vote here ...
Cinema show, FoF and ... More fool me! I always likes this little song. Early, shy vocals by Phil.
Reports from his "live premiere" of TDSOTM Redux are ... well ... entertaining. Obviously he was reading a lot. Music seems to be better live than on record bit I still wonder what made him rerecord this classic ...
Anyway. Looks like Waters didn't make any comment about what's going on in Israel. Which is quite surprising. But also something positive ....
Pretty laid back track after first listen, then it reveals a little bit more complexity. Not my favorite among those 10 tracks released from the album so far, but still a good one.
"Road to joy" slightly crawled into my Top 3, currently it's my favoite song from the album.
Beautiful album! Can really recommend this. Standout tracks are (at the moment) "Starts again" and "You can't hit a nail".
Wonderful work! I can't really check or contribute, but I appreciate the work behind that.
Has anybody already received this book and can share some impressions? Thinking about buying one, I may ... but still thinking
“Love can heal” and also “Olive tree” are in my top 3 at the moment. Pretty sure that will change again but it’s nice to see how that evolves …
Sounds interesting!
Here is a short trailer for the album
Hi everyone …
Just came across this article
https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/m…der-a-real-rock-star/?amp
so, Waters says:
Compared to his songwriting heroes, Waters knew that Collins represented everything superficial about the music industry, explaining, “I seem to always wind up attacking poor Phil Collins. He’s symptomatic of an awful lot of it. He might well disagree, and so might his fans. But the ‘feeling’ I get is that he’s pretending to be a songwriter or a rock’n’roller. It’s an act. That’s why it’s unsatisfying.”
Okay …. I sort of disagree ….
I have seen the Selling show several times and most of those shows were years ago when YouTube wasn’t really an issue. I also can’t see why YouTube would keep you from going. Live is the real thing and YouTube comes never any close…
