I didn't choose The Lamb but I did expect it to have a higher % (19 when I wrote this)

I like parts of it. Leaves Of Green and the start and end of Ritual are beautiful pieces of music in my opinion. As a totality, I find the whole thing execrable, just the pious audacity of it is progressive rock at its very worst. However, it was an album that Yes had to make, even though the endeavour proved beyond them. Tales From Topographic Oceans was Yes pushing themselves beyond their capabilities so, for me, the attempt to pull off an album like this is more remarkable than the music itself.
Sorry, we shouldn't really comment on other people's musical tastes but you brought up the fact that the album divides opinion so I thought it was relevant to voice mine!
I have no problem with someone making negative comments about music I like etc.......it often makes for good conversation

Only Fools And Horses has to be one of the funniest shows ever

Not sure 🤔 if we spoke about this topic before ... but here we go anyway .
Now I don’t consider myself old or young (dont be fooled by my boyish good looks , I’m older than you think ) . I will be 56 next month no age I hear you cry , but do you know that feeling in your heart that you will be forever 18 but your body is telling you something completely different , my joints creak now as I walk .
Glad I am not the oldest here

I did collect lots of unofficial live recordings (not only Genesis), but a couple of years ago it came to my mind that I never heard them.
So I stopped that. I have never traded anything, just got lots of stuff for free by some nice chaps. The rest was downloaded (mostly torrents).
When I used to trade by snail mail and also took part in vines I listened to every show I got many times over. It was like getting a surprise or winning a prize when the package came through the post. Waiting for the package was part of the drama. In the past few years with advancement in technology (torrents etc) it is so easy to download so many shows in a very short time that the magic has gone. Instead of really looking forward to a recording arriving through the post it is now so easy to download for the sake of it (not because you want the recording). I found that I was not listening to them. What is the point of that!!!!!
I still do download shows but now listen to them all and only download what I really want.
