I share your feelings to some extend, but I must confess, that I already feel quite at home on here. The new forum format offers a lot more options to communicate and it all displays really well. I hope, that the usual suspects from the old forum will all show up here plus plenty of newbies.
A heartfelt thanks to you, Krissy, for all you did for us over the years. And also a big thanks to Christian and everybody else involved for this wonderful new place.

I'm not a fantasy lover. I had my fill of C.S. Lewis when I was a child.
His Dark Materials is sort of an antithesis to Narnia. So you might enjoy these books.
(Probably not)

I've started re-reading the His Dark Materials series. I've not read Brett or Donaldson, but I really should. I do need to branch out while I wait for the next Patrick Rothfuss
I am waiting for this one, too. The story of Kvothe is one of the finest works of fantasy, I have ever read. Although it is hard to wait for the sequel, you know, that it is well worth it....

This is probably not a case of a real collaboration, but the soundtrack of „Against All Odds“ includes the following tracks:
1. Phil Collins - Against All Odds
2. Peter Gabriel - Walk Through The Fire
3. Mike Rutherford - A Big Mistake
-
Never really got into them, probably because it is quite hard to get their albums to reasonable prices. I have Voices In The Night, which is a mixed bag of tracks from different eras.
What I really like is N.S.T.O.C. (Resistance) in the version of IQ (from the Lost Attic album).

„The Snow Goose“ gets quite a regular spin in my CD-player in particular the re-release 0f 2013.

Tony Banks - A Curious Feeling (with Chester Thompson)

I just finished the first Narnia book and enjoyed it a lot! Now I'll have to dive into the works of C.S. Lewis...
I have read all the seven Narnia books years ago. I loved the first four volumes. To the end it all gets a bit challenging and a bit preachy. But the books are all great non the less.

Zitadelle, Mainz, Germany, June 17th 2007. Support was Charlie Winston, who became quite famous later. A friend of mine bought one of his albums after the show and got it signed by the artist.

I bought A Kingdom Of Colours a while back, which includes their studio output from 1995 to 2002. A low priced but very beautifully done collection, which brought me back to the tremendous classic albums of the band. Insideout will release a second box with the releases from 2004 to 2013 this summer.

Leipzig, Germany, around one year ago. I have never seen Genesis live, but all the members including Ray Wilson. Never managed to see Tony Banks, though, and probably never will.

You are right. Your new name is definitly more apt, than onetwothree.
Nice to see you here again.

I will start reading the final volume of Peter V. Brett`s Demon Cycle this weekend. Really like these books.
It seems, that Stephen R. Donaldson started a new trilogy. The first volume is out. Has anyone read it?
-
Well, I've made it to the new forum, with a new & improved user name.
who were you on the old forum?
