Some of the new members may not have seen this poll. Still interesting for me that certain albums are ranked quite high. What do you think?

That has to be Face Value and Hello, I Must Be Going!
Was thinking about picking Both Sides, but still this is not as good as the second one.

Hi everybody
I was wondering how many different Genesis tours you all have seen.
So, a simple poll!
Maybe also let us know how many shows you have seen from each tour

I have chose some rather unusual tracks - that I want to hear live. And I have included the EPs ...

Blood On The Rooftops
Inside And Out
Deep In The Motherlode
Heathaze
Like It Or Not
You Might Recall
Just A Job To Do
Tonight Tonight Tonight
Living Forever
The Dividing Line

I love that track. And Phil sings that in a one really outstanding way. Which also means that chances he'd throw that in during his current tour are rather slim...

Oh, that could be an interesting idea. I am in Italy in July so perhaps it will work out for me.
Steve obviously has an affection for Italy. Not the first time that he is doing some summer extras there ...?

Everybird obviously - and it looks like the new version of Party Man could be interesting. In two weeks we will know!

11 points. It's an interesting transformation of this song. Time signatures obviously changed. I also like Paul's voice on that one. This is of course not Prog, bit it's a decent pop song. Nothing wrong with that.

Not sure about that. The FFFT was never intended to be a tour to support or promote Testify (or Brother Bear).
But I agree - a new album would be great.

We should actualy be grateful that all other guys are still around and recording / touring more or less frequently. One day that'll all be gone
-
So, Brand X were on that Cruise as well. I hope they will tour Europe one day. Looks like they put on a great show.
-
Thanks to Niklas - was fun reading it!
No matter what we think about this tour - it seems like the majority is really enjoying it. This tour seems to be going on forever. I wonder if there's a chance for a new album ...

Thanks for the service! And yes, great idea to include some piece of Genesis-history in the artwork
-
Oh dear ...
I nearly fogot how insane this discussion was at times. Thanks for compiling and bringing this feature to our attention. Weird stuff, but a great read.
I acatully hope it won't happen. But something tells me it might not be that unrealistic any more - at least the "small" version with Tony, Mike and Phil ... and Nic

I think the tracks are likeable enough; they're just not spectacular.
That's a good summary of the thread
It's actually the problem of the album. It feels a bit lost but several tracks are really good. Over the years I learned to like "Undertow" and dislike "Scenes From A Night's Dream".
And yes, "Snowbound" has always been a favorite of mine.
I am sure it was an important album for the band - they needed to prove it works without Steve and they have moved forward in terms of songwriting and sound. They lost a bit of their strength, which was always a great atmosphere thoughout the albums. They eventually got that back later.

A nice and funny track from the early days. I like the lyrics and the kind-of-childish atmosphere.
"like a fool in the pool ..."
wonderful!

Few more countries this year, but still nothing in the UK / Ireland or any major tour outside Germany and Poland. Will that happen someday?
-
Thanks!
So, 5,000 copies. Seems to me that's quite a lot? But it's a Picture Disc, so at the end of the day I am grateful there will be a digital version as well!

Curious what Phil will play down under. Do you expect setlist changes? I remember there was a rule that oversea artists had to include Australian artists in their live band? is that still the case?

Thanks for posting, a nice article. Can't believe that man is 50 already.
