It’s almost sold out in every cities
as far as I understood Tony in his recent interview, there are no plans for more releases
which is a pity
He did all the time the same thing (nothing in the attics) and finally...
It's a nice track, but I don't think it's something special.
I am more hoping for something straight forward for the next one, i.e. like Steam or Shock the monkey.
Steam is an average song but nothing spectacular. It's more like a Sledgehammer "pastiche".
Playing for time is a far better song in my opinion.
I think I’ll wait for the reviews from our European members before deciding on whether or not to go. I’m really 50/50 on this one. I only saw him once in 2010 when he toured with the orchestra. To say I was underwhelmed is an understatement. Either way it will be a last minute decision. Single tickets at a reduced price usually pop up in the last days before the show.
However, it was a very special show - different - very far away from a rock show. His voice was magnificent. And the lighting's work was incendiary (these nuances of red...).
I like this one better than the other two, quite reminiscent of Randy Newman, some moments are Peter in top form. He sounds great, although at first listen, the voice production seems to have a demo quality to it, less polished than usual, it sounds obviously deliberate, but I need more listens to be able to put my finger on it.
For me it's very far from sounding like a demo. It's a more raw production on the voice but also more natural. Without the useless effects that we sometimes find on his voice. The sound recording is just magnificent with a very pure rendering.
That's a beautiful track with incredible lyrics. One of his best, isn't it ? And what a voice...
USA/Canada dates arrive in a few hours...
Yes still nothing for US leg of the tour. We'll see next tuesday what happened for the new moon!
It doesn't look very good and I'm so disapointing if the sound quality doesn't here.
That's a pity do not put "BBC Broadcast" on Spotify... for commercial issues (in any doubt)
As expected, BBC Broadcasts is not streaming services.
Still tired of Genesis Revisited show...
It was unbelievable at first but now it has become a proven recipe!
Interesting piece.
Only Lille for me. Tickets are so expansive…
I doubt he's doing Mexico this time. They said dates take place in late August and September, so we can assume venues have been blocked long ago.
Peter also did amphitheaters in the states, i.e. Red Rocks etc.
Peter is very popular in Mexico...
And concerning USA/Canada/Mexico dates, it will be probably more for next autumn than the summer. There are some arenas would be not available this summer. But... Is he do an arena or an amphitheater run for the USA leg?
Phil’s Drum on the Elliott Murphy album is phenomenal…
That seems to go against the "UK sales are poor" assertion we've recently heard.
Take a look at the O2 show and the Hydro one in Glasgow...
