I wonder if there was some dropped song lyrics that inspired that picture. "Remember the day I was looking at the sky and you hammered my jaw one foot down" or sth.

*waits for the "they could have played Supper's Ready instead of X, Y and Z" person*

And here I thought this was music-related:
What other band are you listening to? None.
or:
What's your taste in music? None.

Wow, really a blast to read these lyrics. They were really quite airy-fairy at that time, lots about kings and queens and stuff.
-
I guess the scans on discogs are not what you are talking about?

I bet Blood On The Rooftops will win this thread. I would have been all for it, I was surprised they seriously talked about including it in the Last Domino tour.
That aside I'm also with all of you who mentioned Living Forever and Do The Neurotic.
On the CAS tour they should have played One Man's Fool. The buildup in the second half is fantastic, also it was one of the rare songs at that time the drummer got unleashed.
Too bad Tony found no way to get Mad Man Moon going. It would have been awesome.
And please. The Cinema Show with Aisle of Plenty.

There wasn't any doubt about it, eh?

^ That is exactly my problem with all the people who keep telling me "if you like this music then you really should listen to this!" It doesn't work that way.

That moment when you realize 30 years ago was 1992...

Too bad they forgot those seminal Genesis songs:
- Twilight Air Mouse
- Tappy The Mad
- Saucer Of The Skies (Singer Variant)
- Going Out To Gadget
- Dust (Demo Verizon)
- Let Us Now Make Laugh
- Chef Beard
You really can't beat Patriotic Shea though. My fave in that list.

Man. Haven't seen any April jokes on this April 1st. Looks like April pranks are growing out of fashion.

What about Duchess? I always thought Tony and Mike were singing along with Phil in the choruses.

Having been born into a divided country that reunited peacefully I cannot approve of the idea to divide another country between two giants.

I need to play 'Tea for Two' on my work so I listened to various versions on youtube last night. The song has been stuck in my ear all day long.
-
Got my copy! This CD doesn't need any remastering, it sounds fantastic! So much better than these illegal mp3s. And it doesn't have any of that loudness crap!

Having no recordings made has to be a Mike Rutherford decision.

Spring has arrived.

Phil playing a trumpet?

Workmate who was born in Ukraine took Ukrainian refugees in her house. She spent the day on the phone arguing with the office about their asylum status. Sounded like the officials don't recognize them as "real" refugees for whatsoever reasons.

Still sunny and still really cold.
