I think Mike & Carrack will play like a duo as the benefit concert on 3rd March 2020.

Apart from the title and the image of the cage on the cover, this instrumental album has no other references to Orwell's dramatic novel.
Unless we consider the Roland CR78 drum machine that accompanies the nice melodies of polymoog and ARP 2600!
On the other hand, it was a "dictatorship" that was in fashion.

Ok.
Although Downside Up, Father Son were in Ovo album, therefore not so new.
Animal Nation was an upbeat song very pleasure to listen.
So PG helped us break out from the usual setlist.
-
PG chose to play 11 I/O songs.
In the Growing Up Tour there were 6 from the UP album
At least one or two song from Security album.
-
PG balance the new material with five songs from So album.
He wants to take risks but not too much!

On the internet I see that Nigel Pierce is a Beatles collector so I think Steve's memory is plausible.

I think for RW, a songwriter must write against the System.
PC never wrote songs like Money or Welcome To The Machine.
I think RW's ideal is like John Lennon.

A TOTT was the first album I bought, and Squonk was my favorite song.
It's bombastic (intro), moving (TB pre-chorus), fairytale and dramatic lyrics!
That's what I call Genesis!

They appear to be radio recordings of concerts, so I don't think it's unreleased material from other similar CDs.

However Laser Media CD seems to specialize in Radio Broadcasting.
