My comment about a 74 minutes album was indeed just a hint it could fill a whole CD. The title i/o could also mean it's a double album. Since we know he has been working on 20+ tracks it could be possible, but I don't think that's likely. Can't wait anyway. I assume it will arrive shortly before his tour starts ...

Can't believe it, it's really afoot!

I have no idea what this is all about and rather wait for some archive releases
That will please me more!

One of their finest from the early days. Enjoyed this a lot during several Hackett shows and also the brief intro during the last Genesis tour

Thanks for sharing! The band is really really good. And Hierophant is a real treat WITH Amanda.

2024 it is. So we have more than a year to build up excitement then
Seriously: I enjoyed the first album a lot and I am curious what will come next. But I assume you won't talk about that ... yet?

Have been listening to UP a lot recently. It was a strong album.
I hope some tracks will make it into the set 2023, but I have my doubts ....

One of his best - and what an opener to UP that is!

450 pages??? Looks to me it's more a scientific approach? My German is ... not really existing
Curious what German readers will report and then hopefully, if it's good, we'll get an English version

At begin tour in 1990 was better yet. I Wish It Would Rain Down, Behind The Lines or All Of My Life was revelation- or Dosen't Anybody Stay Together Anymore on drums.
I actually like the slow version of DASTA better. But that's - of course - a matter of taste ...

Not sure I am going this time. Saw this show a couple of times when they toured with it last time. For those who have not seen this show yes: GO! You won't regret it!

Whilst in no way condoning the Gabriel ticket prices, I really don't think you can compare the cost for one man with a microphone with a full band multi-media visual spectacle.
It's easy and probably justified to feel wrong about what Peter charges per tickets (or his agency). What we do not know is the whole picture, i.e. production costs, preparation costs etc.
The business has changed a lot. In some regions they have big problems finding staff to do any shows.

Input/Output; Signal to Noise. Makes as much sense as "Up" or "So". As for it being double, given the length of many albums these days, I'm expecting two slabs of vinyl, even if the 4th side contains a pretty etching.
ok, perhaps you are right and it will be a 74 minutes album

This is my favorite PC album and probably the one that comes as close to the atmosphere of a Gabriel record as possible. I don't care anymore and Thru these walls really stand out and The west side could be one of his best ever outputs.

Biko and Shock the monkey were not always played during recent tours. I agree with the rest of your first batch.
It's hard to predict what "surprises" will be played. That could be a soundtrack tune such as Everybird or The veil or something completely different, why not an acoustic section? I think that would open a door to new arrangements. Growing up unplugged maybe?

Newsletter says "It's been a while and I am now surrounded by a whole lot of new songs ..."
Is it just me thinking ... this could be a double album?
I and O - does it make sense?

Phew ... glad I checked my mails during lunch break.

OMG
It's real!

Nice to see Phil having a break from retirement
Is he still writing songs? Anyone knows?

The track is okay. Was really waiting for this, but wasn't aware there's the same band involved on all track. I hopes for a more Gabriel-like interpretation.
