Hey Rael. I have one of those Lamb shows too. It’s from West Palm Beach Fl, January ‘75. I got it off of Amazon too. It’s a bootleg, I’m assuming?

That’s Sky Blue, I grieve and ... Barry Williams show.
I know BWS ja not that popular but I always liked that track.
I think the video for BWS gives it a bad rap, (it is kind of a bad video), but Gabriel always had a flair for the weird and creepy, which I love about his music.

Agreed! Got that great Jazz feel that he’s known for!

I don’t care anymore
Like China
It don’t matter to me
I especially love Like China, I love when Phil sings with the cockney accent, it’s awesome to my ears.

Looking for Someone is great, very underrated song, in my opinion. I love the middle drum section. I agree with Martinus, the opening lines of the song without music are perfect. It’s like the band putting their stake in the ground after Genesis to Revelation, saying this is who we are.

I love Driving the Last Spike though, might be my favorite track on the album.

Since most of their albums have six, seven songs tops, which are longer and more complex, it’s going to make the album seemed more unnecessarily padded, now having 12 songs that are mostly pop. That seems to be the consensus among fans—cut three or four songs and replace them with On the Shoreline. Make the album more concise.

This is awesome! Listened to No Son of Mine so far. Love Geno’s sound! He has a mid-late 90’s alt rock vibe, love it. I’ll keep listening.

Wow, thank you for the in depth comparison. I’m fascinated by fan’s takes on the various tours, what they liked and didn’t like, etc...

Anybody here go to the We Can’t Dance tour? How would you say it ranked say compared to the IT tour or the tour in ‘07?

You have to consider that the fact that as a fourteenth album this album is better than many bands first albums, that says something.
-
Yes. Neither of his two solo albums are available on iTunes either. It’s a shame. Especially right now with Genesis active again and whatnot, there is an interest in all things Genesis related.
-
Yeah. Pretty cool.

What he said ^
I'm still loving this breakfast - a reminder: two spoonfuls of oatmeal into a bowl before you go to bed, add a handful of raisins, just enough cold water to cover it, stir, cover the bowl. When you're ready to eat, sprinkle a little ground cinnamon (enough to cover the tip of a teaspoon) and a generous teaspoon of coconut oil. Add milk of choice, a little more than the amount of water you added, stir, then into the microwave at full power for 1 minute. Stir well, return to the micro for another 45 secs, stir again, then a final 15 seconds or so. Allow it to sit for a minute and if it looks too 'solid' stir in enough cold milk to loosen to your satisfaction.
You can do the prep in the morning if you can't be bothered doing it before bed. It gives the oatmeal slightly more bite but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Either way it's GORGEOUS.
Plus of course 'the usual cup of tea' (one day another Dubstar fan will pick up on that).
Sounds delicious.

Multigrain Cheerios with bananas and cold
milk poured over it.

Yes, overwrought is exactly it. I was thinking pretentious, and I hate using that word for Genesis, but maybe a little on this particular track.

Agree 100%, Wolf.

How’s the finalizing of the interview going Christian?

I love hearing fellow fans’ different perspectives on the band, differing points of view make for interesting conversation. It’s always fascinating how a song can completely move one person, and do nothing for another. In the end, we all love this band, and that’s awesome. 👍🏻
