still have the ticket?

It doesnt work that medley they are doing.
Also firth of fifth just starting with the drums is pretty lame too.
The old medley they did in the 90s was epic. (even though all the all fogie genesis fans complained about it)
Everything worked beautifully for that..

Sooo
Reading about the band leaving the stage without a bow etc.. And tony banks frustrations with gear (Glasgow)
I actually noticed it at Liverpool too. He wasnt happy about something at some stage. Maybe a monitor mix.
It was after duchess. And something didnt sound right to me on duchess. Like something wasnt working during verses.
Anyway. I was seriously looking at going to another concert. My favourite band of all time and the reason i became a musician.
Maybe i will get to see them again afterall.
No maoning from me. Its was an absolute privilege to see the guys live again. The production is amazing.
Covid is no joke even with the vaccine.
Im vaccinated. Pretty fit guy, and i am still struggling months later with lack of energy.
I hooe they are ok. And if they need to. Take as long as it takes to recover.
Doing a big concert would be the last thing to with the after effects of covid if any of them get this fatigue bullshit a lot are suffering with.

Ive just watched some clips.
So its the end of firth of fifth. What the hell is Darryl playing just before i know what i like 🤦♂️
-
I just posted loads. And it cut off everything i wrote apart from the first and last sentence? 🤦♂️
See setlist section 😏
-
Was a great gig
The acoustic section surprisingly was a highlight 👌
-
I think Phil would go down hill without music. So i hope for his sake and the rest of us they carry on
Very wishful thinking
-
Ive avoided this forum until I watched the concert..
Just watched them in liverpool
Wasnt sure how i was gonna feel about an acoustic section but it was a highlight, and i liked the lamb version 👌
Duchess was great to hear, although it sounded like something wasnt working.. Bass pedals maybe.
Generally the sound wasnt that well balanced but it didnt stop me loving every second.
Didnt dislike home by the sea but for me it is far behind many other songs i would have preferred (abacab, jesus he knows me, last spike)
Fading lights for me was pointless..
Im a keys player, so a fan of some of the banks solo stuff but going straight into firth of fifth solo, just to have that solo was really naff on the last tour and they did the same again. Also the sound is crap that he uses now.
There was a section of one of the solo songs that was an absolute mess going into another song... Cant remember which one but i couldnt tell what was going on.
Backing vocalists seemed to be a bit hesitant at times, like they wernt super fans and missed some of the harmonies 😏
Although phil probably thrown them too with his timing being out these days.
Amazing night. Phil was off at times but was sounding good at times too. Still got his sense of humour 👌 crowd just loved him
Got emotional at times and am extremely thankful they went for one more round 👊

Yeah im open to selling it here.
Lower tier
15/E 420-423 -
Just reading a few comments.
Agree about the keyboard sounds
I hope they have at least been improved from the last tour. Some of the sounds were hurrendous..
-
Its Liverpool. 4th october.
Pretty good seat at the side.
I know generally where is best for sound and lightshow so....
-
My sister doesnt want to go
Im i going to be able to sell the ticket?
-
I got a bit emotional watching the documentary.
My setlist seems pretty spot on from the clips.. I hope for abacab too but doubt it.
Too snappy and high for vocals. Phil isnt as on it timing wise so they will obviously chose songs based on that too
Production looks amazing.
With a crowd its gonna be brilliant. Cant wait.

The original tickets bought for 2020 (from ticket quarter) still count for the new dates right?
Had no refund so guessing they do
-
Ps. We have bought tickets incase that wasnt clear
-
Has everyone been sent the new dates?
We havnt actually had a confirmation of which date in Liverpool it will be
-
Thats the one yeah.

I agree about the energy on a show closer
When they did turn it on again in the 80s at wembley. The energy was insane, when they did the medley, and then kicked back into the chorus (goosebumps)
For the encore songs like
Turn it on again, i know what i like,
Abacab followed by i know what I like to end would be pretty amazing.
Love how the crowd sing that melody to that really old song they always throw in (can never remember what its from. Might even be from genesis to revelation)

Just seen the collection. Its pretty predictable.
I hoped for a little bit of in that quiet earth and a little bit of dodo lurker. Very wishful thinking it seems now
