Thought about 15 points, but there are some real classics that are better, imo.
So 14 is fine. It's a strong track!

Haven’t heard this in a while, but my favorite song on that album has always been “You call this victory”. And I never was a fan of “Lion …” and I really can’t explain why. It just does not give me anything. The Fish track is also nice and the video is funny!
The more I listen to this, the more I like it!
I wasn’t really impressed when they played this live, but the track obviously needs some time. The vocals are stunning, the overall atmosphere is great and it reminds me bit of “Lovetown”.
Quite a complex arrangement again as well
I like this more compared to the first track!
That's nice
Mike does it a lot. I mean, charity gigs. But just as with previous appearances, I won't hold my breath. Musically, it was never thrilling ...
Of course I appreciate the charity factor!
Although I am a bit tired seeing Steve again and again ... this could be interesting (didn't he say a few years back he'd rather avoid the Lamb stuff?). Hope he's doing mainland Europe as well this year.
This is peak Genesis for me. Great pile-driving groove from Phil. Colouring 12-string chords from Mike. Ever-shifting tension and release chords from Tony on the mellotron. Steve painting in accents and shades just enough. And Peter introducing everything with a poignant vocal.
agreed!
If any track is worth 15 pts, then this one (among a few others)
... indeed that was an enjoable album to listen to. His first five i know quite well, but need to check out some later stuff
As a huge fan of Radiohead I was disappointed they ended up not participating. I was looking forward to two of my favourite artists doing this reciprocal thing. I heard they would have done Wallflower.
Same here (where did you read about Wallflower...?). But in the end the Scratch my back record was far more interesting anyway, at least for me.
Thanks
Is there detailed information which shows were used? 1/2 should be Berlin 1987, 5/6 Hanover 1994 (Collins).
Quite impressive how many shows Steve plays in North America these days. I do remember times when he didn't go due to lack of interest. Good for him!
Just curious: The demo tapes you have listed. How did you know they exist and what's on them?
I did not really like his later output, this abum being a little exception. A nice way to wrap up one's career, actually. I am quite happy he didn't try to reinvent those songs.
