My correspondent just let me know they are currently doing a very late soundcheck (Olive Tree and Road To Joy and This Is Home) and people are already inside. Peter apologized and informed everybody they will start a bit later today.

Yesterday they rehearsed another completely unknown / new track in Verona. So that could also find its way onto the album. Let’s wait what kind of song this is (and what it’s name is)
Blukaos - have you heard this one during soundcheck?
-
During soundcheck, they rehearsed / played another new and unknown track they may appear in the set shortly.
-
Rain stops and setlist so far the same

Maybe there will be a second album (a year) after I/O ? Who knows ? I bet Peter won't promise anything with the UP - I/O experience But a quick 2nd release Is a possibility with all those tracks that won't end up on I/O. In the uncut interview PG also says that tracks like The veil and Why don't you show yourself should some day find a place on an album ....
obviously the tracks that were originally meant to be on i/o (from the late nineties / early 2000 sessions) will no longer be. So what will happen to them?
-
Just checked - looks like the weather won't be that bad! Have fun everybody!
-
I wonder what will happen t those tracks
Path of fortuneRock Paper Scissors
Radio Everyone
I know that Baby Man is no longer on the list. Probably anything pre 2012 isn’t -
So far no info whether or not they would film a show.
the tour Is called i/o The Tour so it’s just consistent he plays the whole album. And it’s also not that unusual to play stuff that hasn’t gone out yet.
I am curious to see if he will keep this setlist or change new ones for classics. Quite obviously a lot of work went into the stage show for each track.
by the time they hit America, 9-10 tracks have been released.
in a nutshell. Chapeau Mr Gabriel. I didn’t think he would be that brave. But why should he play 40+ years old stuff when he has so much new material?
we hat that retro thing for a long time. Warm up tour, new blood, back to front. And now finally new stuff. So let him play it -
I prefer this mix! It's rougher, sounds better
-
There were some difficulties - on the higher notes, according to the videos - but her voice is still very present.

The man is 73 and it’s a wise decision to get some background singers on board.
besides, reports I have read in our German forum say he’s still in a great shape. It was a 2,5 hrs show! -
Nothing about this so far. Quite obviously they have roses ideas tondi so, but probably decided otherwise as they are going so many new tracks?
-
I count 12 new songs. The one after Big Time is also new…

News about the weather kn northern Italy are quite … bad. Fingers crossed this show will gonad planned and there’s no rain. It’s open air …

If this is indeed his last tour (who knows, but after all he's in his 70's now), I would actually hope he does the usual ratio of new songs (historically five or six) vs past favorites. On a setlist that will likely have between 16-19 songs (which seems the norm for older musicians these days), five or six new songs is around a third of the setlist. If it may be the last chance to see him live, I'd hope we can see a good selection favorites one last time.
