I hope they will play something from Abacab again!

I like the Segway during Games ...
Burn you up was never a Gabriel solo song for me, nevertheless it fits perfectly on the Big blue ball album
-
Anything now also was a great track. That probably didn't end up on the album because of There must be some other way .... ?

Don't see any reason why they shouldn't have extra singers. Let's see how that sounds and then discuss whether or not this is any good ...
More importantly, I think it's really optimistic to think that indoor shows are possible by September. I hope they will happen of course!

ah! Thanks for this. I have to say - I am not really a fan of his acoustic / classical stuff. Just not my cup of tea. But reading the review and listening to the YouTube clips trigger some interest.

Amazing work! Hope you do something like that for Collins as well some day!
... and probably Hackett as well? I'm sure it's an awful lot of work!

Happy New Year from my side as well! Let's hope this will tour out to be a good one - and that concerts will be possible again!

First Final Farewell Tour? How many is he planning?
I believe he has once said the title was a joke anyway and a reference to all the farewell tours that turned out not to be farewell tours... because more was coming.
Although he wanted to retire from touring at the time, he came back anyway - proving the title of that tour was a good idea
The documentary is really great, I have this on DVD (it's a card sleeve release which was never available in shops if I remember correctly)

There are plenty of versions around. Funny enough, I once had the CD-Single of BAND AID 5 (the one with Chris Rea and others) but this version does not seem to be available digitally?
And I can't find the single ...
never heard of that version. But to be honest, I am not a fan of all the re-recordings. I stick to the original when I want to hear the track.

Thanks for sharing! That indeed is a nice tune and a wonderful collaboration. Is a full album planned as well?
I must admit, I never really was interested what Lamont is doing. I have read stuff about Arnold from time to time, but not about the other singers in Phil's band.

Had a listen
You pretty much reproduce the original album. Did you consider to create something different, i.e. recording the songs in different styles.
I find it fascinating when cover versions are completely different from the original stuff, a bit like what Peter did with Scratch my back

Hope you all had some great days. At my end it was a cozy X-Mas and VERY reduced celebrating. But that was okay!

I own this one as well (somewhere), it's an official release.

I kind of like the idea of age-transferred cover images, but I would also provide, in addition, the original cover when possible.
Nevertheless this seems to be a nice item for my collection

I picked
Lorenzo - one of his best ever
River So Wide
The Times ....

Listened to it once so far. That's VERY promising and obviuously a good album to say goodbye. Waverly steps and Rose of Damascus are just outstanding!

I came across this rather unqique review here:
I'd say I only agree with half of it, but it made me think. Was Foxtrot a better album, as a whole, i.e. better balanced, as the reviewer writes? Does Selling only stand out due to its three all time classics Firth of fifth, Cinema show and Dancing with the moonlit knight? Did it really mark the end of a era?
Open for debate ... still think it might be their masterpriece

I don't see the shows happening in April. Even if they did shows in April in general, this would be with 25% capacity or something like that - how would they do that with already sold out shows?
-
Interesting question - but I have no idea. I think he played Rad Dudeski live with his Big Band?
