Tour logistics are not that easy apparently. Obviously the priority was to move the London shows as soon as possible. That opened some doors for the European shows. Who knows what’s behind this, but it’s quite tricky To find alternate dates that fits everything (see Dublin / Belfast, I’m sure they have tried to reschedule them but then they couldn’t)
I think the Irish shows are more about Covid rules in Ireland than anything else. Maybe still not allowing large gigs?
P.S. Looks like they do have gigs listed for 2022.

But of course, they don't make this official, so that when it's announced it's canceled tickets for other venues will be sold out! And I had tickets for the first row, I'm so angry about that!
Glasgow should have been a priority over the new shows IMO.

Happy Birthday Noni!

🤔 so can travel to the US for a full tour but not to Ireland?..hopefully the 02 dates will not be standalone as may be a bit rusty!
Ireland have got it right.
-
fingers crossed for 4th time lucky! ..hopefully boys are not too rusty by then. Guess they may add some other dates elsewhere as well
I doubt it. They still have plenty of shows to do, and going into next year too.

Interesting that 4 out of the 6 are sick.
Maybe Phil & Nick are the okay ones, especially as Nick has been very public on Social Media
Didn't Christian report on this forum? I think I saw it here anyway. It was 2 band members, 1 Family member and 1 crew member.

So I wonder if they are still doing the North American leg on the tour in the dates scheduled???
I feel bad for the people who are missing the last dates in the UK.
Will depend mainly on their health, I guess, and I hope they are well. The quarantine time is nearly up.
This tour was always a risk though, wasn't it? Who knows when it will be really safe...

Yes, I think it's more likely to be the 2 backing singers (although no guarantee) but thankfully its not Phil.
I just hope they don't get this crazy cold going around also, it's horrible.
Very bad cold / flu symptoms could be the Delta variant. Have people been testing for this?
-
I just read that Phil Collins doesn't have it but 2 band members do. I hope it's the younger guys I think there body's can fight it off more then the older guys. Wish them all well and speedy recovery
Age isn't always a factor in fighting the virus off, it's about the individual person.

Everybody should check before traveling anyway. Looks like some people were already in London so they couldn't rearrange. They will have double costs for travelling then. Pity. On the other hand: We all knew it was risky, didn't we?
Indeed! Venues in the UK seem to be making it riskier too by not checking vaccine proof. Masks not mandatory in venues either.

I have tickets for the show at the Capital One arena in Washington, DC. The last time I checked masks will be required inside the arena. I’m not terribly worried about the vaccine status of the people who will be around me. Given that a large % of the population in DC is employed by the federal government those who fit that category will be vaccinated. Also, given the average age of most Genesis fans in 2021 I suspect that most in the audience will be vaccinated.
Being fully vaccinated isn't everything, as a lot of older people are now getting boosters.
