Thank you for your objective opinion, but don't you sometimes sing to yourself that old Genesis line "How could I be so wrong"?

I looked it up. I had voted for
Lamb Lies Down

Lamia
It
Don't remember why.

Very, very, very upset... er... easy:
CAS
Dividing Line
Not About Us

Which ones do you guys consider the best of this bunch? Acquired all of them after I had enjoyed The Next Day, but never really came around to listen to them.
Black Tie White Noise
The Buddha of Suburbia
OutsideEarthling
Hours
Heathen
Reality

The B-side is about perfect, so I went for those three tracks.
-
Guitar Noir, Darktown, To Watch the Storms and Beyond the Shrouded Horizon are the ones to get. If you can call those recent.
As for Defector, I like the whole album, including The Show.
-
It was such a cool idea to start with the pop medley that included everything fans expected them to play. So afterwards they had plenty of time they utilized well by giving us the real stuff! A stroke of genius!

Not familiar with the name
Think V2 Schneider by Bowie.
-
Possibly the track that ended up on the first Mechanics album.
-
What's that? I want to hear it whatever it is
It's a mysterious pre-Trespass tune that was mentioned on the very first Genesis setlist. I want to hear it, too, but I fear they'd rather play Teedle-ay-ay-ay.

Now that would be stretching it a bit. I believe that one ran for about an hour?

When the new album is released in 2025 there'll surely be a song about bird flu on it.
-
As much as I totally disagree with Lazlor's viewpoint, I absolutely looove VDGG.
-
Blood, because it's a no-brainer
Earl, because it rocks and is my fave of the three tracks pointing to the band's future
Vine, because I can't vote for Slumbers/Earth as one piece
All in all an excellent album with a stronger atmosphere than Trick.

This was very easy: Dance, Entangled, Los Endos

Alex Harvey
Me like!

As the votes for this one otherwise seem to remain in anonymity, I'll own up:
the way too obvious TIOA
the horrible Misunderstanding
HeathaZZZZZZZe
All in all, Duke is one of my least favourite Genesis albums. I blame it completely on the production. If only they had stripped down their sound one album earlier.

Mike & The Mechanics
Radiohead
(found out the only albums of theirs I can still stomach are The Bends and OK Computer)
Grobschnitt
(like the first three albums, but Rockpommel's Land strangely just won't click with me)
Eno
Procol Harum
(The Prodigal Stranger is better than I remembered, maybe an age thing)
...a bit of Wishbone Ash as well.

one of the rare songs I cannot make out any of the five as predominant, they all contributed their share.
That's true of most of the stuff on the underrated Nursery Cryme album, IMO, especially the three longtracks. A tight band with the egos firmly under control yet. Hogweed may be more repetitive than Musical Box and Salmacis, but the "dance" section and the great, great ending more than compensate. I like all three versions of the track, studio, live and revisited.
