Nic Collins has launched a new band project called The Effect, together with other well-known musicians. The first single Unwanted will be available from October 13 (updates will be available here). The band will also play its first show shortly afterwards - on October 15 at the Knitting Factory in North Hollywood.
The other members of The Effect (besides Nic Collins on drums) are:
Trevor Lukather (guitar), who is the son of Toto's Steve Lukather and has been active as a musician for years.
Emmett Lee Stang (vocals) recently attracted attention among Genesis fans with a cover version of In Your Eyes (click here). The musician and singer is also active as an actor.
Steve Maggiora (keyboards) is a session musician, but is also active with his own music. He was also a background singer and keyboardist for Toto.
