Interesting to see that both, I Grieve and Sky Blue are currently on top of this poll!
Always thought Darkness was far more pupular.

So, it is the 18th anniversary of the release today. What are your memories about this album? Favorite tracks?

I have never seen this before
What do your think about the slow version of Doesn’t Anybody Stay Together Anymore during the Serious tour?
For me, Burn You Up Burn You Down is missing on UP
It was part of the first promo CD and that fitted well. It was a mistake to save it for a later release
The new Moby ... I’m waiting for this one. First three new recordings are already awesome. A rollercoaster ride for me, Moby was one of my secret heroes when I was a young adult
Once the tour starts, we will have a separate thread with the actual setlists - this will be clearly marked and the spoiler option should be used when posting
Anybody heard of Sophia Kennedy? Great stuff, quite unique music, would call it intelligent pop.
Liquid Len requested a separate Genesis albums poll, which ONLY is about the album cover artwork.
For this reason I have included live albums and the major compilations.
You can pick up to five covers.
Thanks for sharing this info
actually it will be a bit strange to see background singers in a Genesis show ... I have mixed feelings.
well, Pink Floyd also had that - a lot of bands do. Let's wait and see how that sounds.
I wish there were more official live releases from the PG era besides Live.
at least they did the rainbow show for the live boxset and also a complete lamb show (Archive boxset). Ok, lamb was strange, the majority of the vocals was done in the nineties ...
My definite version of Signal to Noise is this one
it has the guitars I always liked (see also The first performance of that track in 1996), and it has the whole drama ...
Wonderful
It’s a bootleg, sometimes there are some “grey areas” regarding copyright, but other than the official live albums and the encore series of all shows 2007, genesis have not teased other stand alone live show CDs
Jack has already completed the follow-up to "Primitif", to be released later this year.
The first track has already been released:
I don’t care anymore
Like China
It don’t matter to me
I especially love Like China, I love when Phil sings with the cockney accent, it’s awesome to my ears.
That could also be my choice on certain days. Only problem: It doesn't contain The West Side, which I consider one of the best tracks Phil has ever done.
Would LOVE to take my 13 yr old son to see the GREATEST rock group of all time. Hopefully from nose-bleed seats he'll believe me ;o)
Will try to get 2nd MSG show in NY. Will they be adding more shows if demand hold up?
I have moved your post in this thread (this is about North America, the other one was about UK/Ireland).
More shows could happen, but not in NYC. There are rumors about two more shows in Toronto and Washington DC. Nothing else planned so far.
And: welcome to our forum
Following the albums poll about Phil Collins and Genesis, we'd like to start the favorite tracks poll also for PETER GABRIEL.
This one is about his album UP, released in September 2002.
So far available:
I'm surprised. Mike's solo albums used to by on iTunes. I did however find The Anon's Pennsylvania Flickhous under Anonymous
Pennsylvania Flickhouse was released (after we did the physical fanclub CD Digipak with liner notes) in digital format a while ago and is therefor available on iTunes as well.
Coming back to Maxine: There are a couple of strange videos and performances from that period. Think about the music videos for Cell 151 or This Is Love
Genesis Museum have done some wonderful stuff, including this one. Thanks!
How’s the finalizing of the interview going Christian?
takes some time. 70 minutes is quite some work to do - plus Steve has to approve a couple of names he has mentioned.
