I hope he will do more shows in 2024.
If not, I am very happy I did see this tour. It was special in may ways and if it was his last, it also was a nice way to say goodbye.

This is not my favorite period, but thanks again for the detailed work.
The top 3 is not really a surprise for this album
Well, let's see
1. When did you buy Selling England By The Pound (or have received it as a gift)?
In the later 80s, can't really recall
2. How old were you when Selling England was released?
1
3. Was Selling England your first Genesis album? If not, how many Genesis albums did you own before getting Selling??
I believe I had Invisible touch and Duke before
4. If you had to rank all Genesis albums, where does Selling England stand?
Top 3, it varies a bit
5. Which track was your favourite when you bought the album?
I know what I like
6. Which track is your favourite today?
Cinema show
7. Which track do you think is the best track on the record despite your own taste?
Firth of fifth
8. How many versions of the album have you bought / owned? (Vinyl, CD, Remaster, Cassette, SACD etc)
Vinyl, CD Remaster and SACD/DVD
to be honest I was hoping for more stuff beside the i/o releases. He must have tons of versions, demos etc. Hoping that will come after the i/o release.
I am happy about the LCH Post Band version. It's a nice addition to the standard mixes.
Peter also said in his full moon video this month that he intends to keep doing this "next time around", whatever this means.
That's a nice track and it captures the mood of the live version nicely. I need to listen to this more often!
As to whether they're songs nobody knows, I think that depends on the perspective of when people attend the concerts.
For example: for someone who saw the show in April, I could imagine the setlist would be somewhat daunting-since almost half of the setlist are songs that no one has ever heard before! I know for myself at least, I would hate to attend a concert of one of my favorite artists-and almost half of the songs are completely unfamiliar to me!
For someone seeing the concert in later months (like myself, in October) I imagine it'll be a very different experience. By the time I go in three weeks, I will already know and have enjoyed all of the songs except for two! So for me, I'll be going to a concert where I actually know almost all of the songs. And it's all just because of which month I'm going.
Saw the show in Europe and I cannot agree to what you wrote. I enjoyed every minute, though I didn't not know half of the new tracks. It was quite an experience!
Really? .... I'll pass this time.
9/15. i did like the album more when it came out. Today it sounds a bit boring.
Not sure about this one. Both mixes have a lot I like, but maybe the Dark-Side Mix is a bit more emotional?
It took some time but at least we got another goodie that's not i/o related. I have this already but it's nice to see it here as well.
What else do you want to have via BANDCAMP?
I hope for this alternate version of "Come talk to me", which was played briefly in one of the US related video documentaries (not sure where that was). And of course I think he has plenty of stuff that could be interesting

Latest tour trailer says "i/o coming soon". So maybe "the making of i/o" will also come to an end after 20 years?
I have noticed CDs like that have appeared on the market. Now we have a ton of releases. I wonder if any of those are worth the money.
I expect them to play the same set in North America. I don't think they will change anything...
I never was really interested in live footage from that tour. I enjoyed the shows and the atmosphere and was always afraid any footage might take that feeling away.
Having seen this, I am really grateful this nippet found the way to publication.
But still, I hope they won't do a complete show (as far as I know they only recorded rehearsals anyway).
A lovely track! I find it difficult to rate this right now, this feels more like a starlight in the album context, at least that's my impression right now. So, more on that later, once we have the whole picture.
I prefer the dark side mix here. The track is a grower and especially after the live show one of my favorites. 13/15…
